' Chanticleer' was set up with the aim of taking 'off the wall' Christian  assemblies into the Primary schools  within the Chichester Deanery. It began 6  years ago with a group of volunteers from churches within the Deanery  and  has now grown big enough to have two groups - one visiting the Primary  schools while the other takes  assemblies  into Secondary Schools. We have  covered a range of subjects including 'forgiveness', 'using your  talents' and  'telling  the truth' and have tried to entertain the children and involve them in  the action.
